What I do: I teach & organise courses related to sound and music. Manage and plan the Sound MA programme. Keep in contact with "sound colleagues" in SibA, TEAK, KuvA and abroad - and within Aalto University, of course. Tutor students. Advise Master's Thesis projects related to sound & music.
Responsibilities: Lecturer (interactive sound design and music), tutor, responsible of Sound in New Media MA programme
Professional interests: Improving and facilitating New Media Sound education in Aalto University and in Finland. Contemporary dance (from composer's p.o.v.)
Background: Composer, sound designer, sound engineer, musician (nowadays too seldom), teacher of music technology & related stuff.
