Understanding the role and potential of design and media in the world. Especially the study and development of content, formats, and uses of digital media after convergence (mediaspaces). Main focus is in applications useful/interesting for communities and their social spaces.
Codesign: Development of approaches for studying everyday life practices in ways which can inform design. This includes development of strategies for active participation of the people involved and tools for interaction between individuals and organizations (with a wide understanding of these terms).
Development and exploration of appropriate language, concepts and scenarios that facilitate discussion and awareness about the design of new technologies (media and software intensive).
