The Reading Room ร่วมมือกับ Clip Kino ของฟินแลนด์ และเครือข่ายพลเมืองเน็ต จัดกิจกรรมฉาย clip ทั้งวีดิโอและสารคดีขนาดสั้นที่เจอออนไลน์ โดยให้ผู้ร่วมงานนำ clip มา share และพูดคุยกัน ทั้งนี้จะมีการจัดเสวนาในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวกับเรื่อง clip โดยเฉพาะประเด็นการแสดงความคิดเห็น การเข้าถึง และการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลทางสื...่อ internet สภาวะความเป็นพื้นที่ส่วนตัว/สาธารณะของสื่อเหล่านี้ กระบวนการ censorship (ทั้งจากรัฐ และกระบวนการ self-censorship) นอกจากนี้จะมีการเชิญบุคคลคนจากสาขาต่างๆ ที่ทำงานเกี่ยวข้องและมีความสนใจในประเด็นเหล่านี้มาจัดโปรแกรม clip ตามความสนใจ โดยโปรแกรมหนึ่งจะยาวประมาณ 10-15 นาที ซึ่งจะเน้นประเด็นที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับเหตุการณ์ร่วมสมัยในสังคมไทย

16:00-17:30 น. เสวนาเรื่องสภาวะและเสรีภาพของสื่อออนไลน์ ร่วมเสวนาโดย
ปราบต์ บุญปาน (มติชนออนไลน์)
มานะ ตรีรยาภิวัฒน์ (คณะวารสารศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย)
วันรัก สุวรรณวัฒนา (คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์)
18:00-19:00 น. ฉายโปรแกรมคลิปสั้นๆ ที่เลือกสรรและเรียบเรียงโดยบุคคลสาขาต่างๆ ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับประเด็นคลิป และข้อมูลทางอินเตอร์เนท ทั้งด้านสังคม การเมือง ภาพยนตร์ และศิลปะ
19:00-20:00 น. ผู้เข้าร่วมงานนำคลิปของตนมาฉาย และพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกันเกี่ยวกับประเด็นในคลิปต่างๆ

The Reading Room, in collaboration with Clip Kino and Thai Netizen Network, present a self-organized screening event of short video clips & documentaries found online in which each participant brings video clips with them to share and discuss with one another. There is also a panel discussion on the topics related to online media: accessibility and distribution issue, the question of public/private nature of these media, censorship/self-censorship issue, etc. Moreover, the event includes screening of curated clip programs (10-15 mins each) by individuals working in various fields related to the above-mentioned issues, particularly those relevant to contemporary social and cultural context in Thailand.

4:00-5:30pm Panel Discussion: Condition and Freedom of Online Media in Thailand

Mana Treerayapiwat (Communication Arts, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce)
Wanrak Suwanwattana (Liberal Arts, Thammasat University)
6:00-7:00pm Screening: Series of short curated clip programs on online media in contemporary Thai context, selected by individuals in various fields, from political and social sciences, film, and art.
7:00-8:00pm Screening and discussion: Each participant shares their selected online clips and discuss issues related to them.
