AQUARIUM GOES TO ESPOO CINE 18.-23.8.98

The interactive tamagotchidrama AQUARIUM will be presented as an installation in the the lobby of the ninth Espoo Cine film festival. The festival takes place in Espoo Cultural Center in Tapiola, from Tuesday, 18th August to Sunday 23rd.
Espoo Cine is one of the main international film festivals in Finland, specialising in European feature films. The festival also presents all Finnish feature films that have been completed during the last year.
During the festival there are also other happenings in the Cultural Center and elsewhere including the Media Lab's very own Ari, living for the week in the lobby of the Cultural Center.
To see the films and to take care of Ari you should go to Tapiola (and pick up the phone). A free bus from Helsinki leaves every 30 minutes from in front of the restaurant Fennia starting 17.30 Thursday /Friday and from 11.30 during weekends.
