3rd International Media Art Festival 0ffline(a-T)online "intimate technologies" / "dig_in_time"

Nov, 24 -25, 2000, Pärnu New Art Museum, Estonia Friday and Saturday

Intimate technologies is a theme that tries to deal with intimate, personal and private levels of technology.
"dig_in_time" is an agitation to deepen / to dig in to time and presence either associated with technology or personal dimensions including digital meanings. In_time is also understood in the meanings of intime (Fr), intimate(Eng).

Body in technological art has regained a lot of attention in the past decade. But in the era of technological and genetic constructiveness the point of freshness is not always the gained issue even in the largest festivals. Also the theme of sexuality is connected to it. This content of body catches attention, it is a magical puller, which makes the blood in audience's veins to run faster. In the overamplified interest there are fears to be victimised into the "inside"wars. Enemy is not always situated outside our body, but is a daily incomer in terms of food, drinks and medicine. Your intimate partner can turn out to be your murderer.
