Media Lab takes part in Open Windows on Europe 15.-24.4. in Stockholm

Open Windows on Europe is an interactive media event - a part of Stockholm's year as Europe's City of Culture - organized by the Stockholm-based cultural institutes or services of eight European countries, including the Finnish Institute.

Each of the participant countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece and Poland) will have an area of its own providing information about and access to cultural projects in their countries; for example The Ars Electronica Center in Linz and ZKM in Karlsruhe. The UIAH Media Lab will present both works-in-progress and finished productions - study and research projects that deal with the central issues of the Lab.

Media Lab study projects presented at Kulturhuset include:

43 and A Day in the Life of a Potato - 3D-animation
Myseum - curated subjectivity for the web
Need - an artificial marketing campaign
Masters of View - stereographic image portfolios
Skitsotek - an essay on madness and technology
