JAAKKO NOUSIAINEN *Born in Pello, Finland *Graduated from the University of Art and Design, Helsinki, MA in film, majoring in sound design *Has worked as sound designer in various film, theatre and dance productions *Has worked extensively in the field of sound art, creating both live performances and computer-aided sound installations *With the vocal improvisation and performance group "kesken" has created performances and installations that have been shown in several European countries *In his work he explores and stretches the limits of body through human voice, using his own voice as a starting point, studying the associative and intuitive collective emotions of nonverbal vocal communication

KIRSIMARJA METSÄHUONE *Born in Helsinki, Finland *Graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute in California majoring in experimental filmmaking, video & photography *Has participated in numerous exhibitions in the U.S. over the past years with her content oriented and very personal photo collages and films that deal with body related & women's issues *Through her work she examines not only the role of women, but also the relationship between image & body on one level, the meaning of memory and identity on another level, and the relationship between reproduction, repetition and manipulation on yet another level *Studied business, marketing & advertising and worked as an advertising copywriter for several years prior to becoming a visual artist
