| When she is done with the news, she shuts
the ITV with the on/off button. It is now 11:12am.
Riitta moves Sulevi's head farther and says "Lets
go to fry the turkey" and lifts Sulevi back to the
floor. It follows her to the kitchen. There is not
much it can do in the kitchen, so it stays near the
door.
"Sulevi, fetch the turkey recipe for the recipe system." Riitta has noticed that it is easier and quicker to let Sulevi to fetch the recipe than to recall the formal name of the recipe and type it into the recipe system. When the recipe is on the recipe system's display, Riitta presses the larder button which hands the needed ingredients for her easily. She has enough of time to make the sauce ready before the visitors come. |

The time: Riitta has set the display to show the current time when
there is nothing else to be shown.
Movable head: Because there are some keys on Sulevi's head and neck,
it should be as easy as now to move the keypad. So, Sulevi's head should
move easily in all directions, and stay still after the movement. A stiff
string pipe in the place of the throat, covered with fur could be one simple
solution.
Liftability: Liftability: To be able to lift Sulevi onto the
bed, Sulevi needs to be designed so that it does not break, even if it
is lifted from the ears. Also, Sulevi must weight less than 2,5 kg.
Following the master: Sulevi can move around the apartment, recognizes
its master and has a radar for estimating distances. These features make
it possible for it to follow its master when she is walking around. Sulevi
does not, however, go out with its master or enter the regions it has no
permission, like a shower.
No enter the kitchen: Sulevi has been told not to enter the kitchen.
This was told to it when Riitta was in the kitchen herself, so now Sulevi
does not enter the kitchen when Riitta is there.
Recipe for the recipe system: Sulevi interprets the word "for" so that
it processes the command and delivers the result to the object named after
the word "for". If the object is a device, it finds the first command that
the device understands by interpreting and processing the voice command.
Because the recipe system does not know what a "turkey recipe" is, Sulevi
checks which recipe Riitta is talking about as explained before.
Then it sends the fetching command to the recipe system again with the
Hot Turkey Sauce parameter. Now the recipe system understands, so Sulevi
has done its job.
Larder: Riitta has a smart larder that knows which and how much food
she has, and has a set of recipes stored in it. It has also a moving set
of shelves which brings the wanted items close to her.
