Mobile Literacy
Mobile literacy means acquiring basic ICTs skills that can appropriately be used to source and create a range of multimedia content using a mobile and other digital devices. Traditional storytelling techniques should be followed when authoring digital stories.
Mobile storytelling starts when you take whatever content you like with you mobile device. That content could be photos, videos and audio. You then transfer the content to your computer using some of the free ways to transfer data between a mobile device and a computer like Bluetooth.
You then edit and merge the content on a computer, add voice and content from other sources captured using other devices like digital and video cameras. If the content is to be viewed on mobile devices, it should be short - 2 to 3 minutes long, fun to watch and hear - even educational if that is the purpose of your story.
