“I started the personal design process with the burial clothes in mind – still making a clear line between the idea of the actual burial vesture vs. fashion clothes inspired by the theme. I decided to design a mini-collection based on my feelings and thoughts on the burial-theme and use some methods that I had found during the NEiD-time.
Keywords in starting to sketch the outline of the mini-collection were warmth, softness, ergonomy, body-consciousness, wrapped body and ritualistic dressing... The chosen technique is really time-consuming and so supported my need to continue working on a therapeutic manner found during the workshop: working with personal emotions through handicraft / design.”
