“My personal project “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe” is a clear combination of the research of Finnish wedding customs and the Dutch regional dress. In the design process I have tried to use aspects from these two to their full potential so that the result would not seem to draw inspiration directly from either of these but would look fresh and new in its own right.”
