Why did you choose this image?

I liked the colours and composition. Because it was not a photo. An interesting posture. Because there is a woman.

Why do you keep returning to pain ?

I think the posture of the woman - her hands protecting her throat and breast - indicates her painful feelins. It is an unnatural posture. Also the colour of the skin is dead-like, turning black.
