Software Design, Spring 1999

The topic will be approached from several directions ranging from the design of the interaction with the software to the level of concrete construction issues. One of the main themes of the course is 'Agents and WWW'. Successful results could be exhibited, e.g., in IJCAI'99 (see http://www.dsv.su.se/ijcai-99/ ) where one relevant theme is "web sites that automatically improve their organization and presentation by learning from user access patterns" (see http://www.cs.washington.edu/homes/map/adaptive/). The course may also serve as a meeting point of several courses and projects.
