Mikä Katalyytti-clips?

Catalysts speed up a chemical reaction. To create a fizz in Happi, we are going to use online video clips.

Katalyytti-clips is a workshop & screening series exploring online videos, peer-to-peer networks, copy and remix culture, and how they are changing digital audiovisual media production.

You are invited to be part of the action which creates reactions. You will be looking online for examples of clips related to themes, and selecting to watch together. Later you will be deciding the theme and topic, and have the opportunity to select video-clips for screening in Happi's ground floor venue.

The programme is lead and facilitated by artist-organiser Andrew Paterson, who has previously made a similar project with young people in New York. Welcome to the first screening event on 15.1.2010 18-19 to see what it is about!
