Regulations for taking the pictures:
- The subject of the pictures taken should not be offensive (ex: sex,
violence) --> there will be a moderator for the web site (see web site
regulations)
Web site regulations:
1st round:
Anyone can vote for
the best picture for each bus stop. Voting for best picture will start
once the date limit for sending the picture ends: on 04.04.2003, and will
end on 05.05.2003.
One person can only vote once for each bus stop.
Voters can also write comments for the pictures they have voted for or
for any picture in general. One person is allowed to write as many comments
as he/she wants.
The moderator will delete any comments using abusive language.
Voters can also “mark” any picture they consider offensive
by choosing the “crying eye” symbol for it. One can attribute
a crying eye for a picture only if he/she explains his/her decision. The
moderator can then remove crying eyes that had meaningless explanations
attached to them (ex: “this photo sucks”)
Writing comments and giving pictures “crying eyes” also starts
on 04.04.2003.
For each bus stop, 12 pictures that have gathered the most votes and the
least “crying eyes” will be selected for the second round.
These pictures will be displayed on their belonging bus stop. The 2nd
round of the competition will then start.
2nd round:
On 05.05.2003, the
12 pictures that had gathered the most votes for each bus stop will be
chosen and will be displayed on their belonging bus stop.
Anyone can then vote for the best picture of the 12 displayed by sending
a SMS message to the number attached to the picture of your choice. One
person can only vote once for each bus stop.
The final winner for each bus stop will have the picture he had submitted
published at the bus stop. All the winning pictures of each bus stop will
then be exhibited at Kiasma, on 06.06.2006. The winners will then be presented
with their prizes.
