This is an Irish imitation of an English penny. The words SIHTRIC C[ununc] around the royal bust mean King Sigtrygg 'Silkbeard', or Sihtric III (ca. 994-1035), the Viking ruler of Dublin. Some 20 Irish coins from the beginning of the 11th century are known from Finland.
