Jana Eske
Scenographer

She has been studying art and design at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe, Germany and University of Art and Design Helsinki since 2000/1. She has gained various working experience in installation, szenography, film and television and participated with her video works in various exhibitions; for instance: "Videonale 10" in the Art-Museum Bonn / Germany, Festival "De Nachten" in Antwerben / Belgium, "là est partout / dort ist überall" in the Gallery de l´Ecole Régionale des Beaux-Arts de Rouen / France and European Media Art Festival Osnabrück / Germany.

Reka Kiraly
Graphic designer

Kiraly is a hungarian born graphic designer, who lives and works in Finland/Helsinki. At the moment she is completing her Ma studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, Department of Visual Culture. Her main interest in the field of graphic design is accessibility, and creating graphic design that is related to educational purposes and information design. In her spare time she likes working with art printing techniques such as lithography and etching, and she makes short films with friends.

Hanna Niemi-Hugaerts
Creative manager

Niemi-Hugaerts is mainly working both in new media and event production with concept design, producing and copywriting. Her interests lay in equality and copyleft issues, accessibility and electronic activism and art. She is just starting her last year in the University of Art and Design's department Media Lab. Niemi-Hugaerts wishes to combine research and creative process management in her future work. Any free time she has she spends in the nature.

Nao Saito
Scenographer

Saito was born in Tokyo, spending childhood in south and north islands of Japan. Now being in department of spatial design after finishing architecture study in Tokyo, Japan. Saito is interested in the process of spatial recognition. Saito made the Iiris map(Helsinki, 2004),tactile map for visually impaired and sighted people is part of her series related this issue.

Marjo Mäenpää
Coordinating teacher
Marjo Mäenpää is teacher, researcher and head of the new media program for professionals in Media Lab of University of Art and Design. She is responsible of studies concerning new media management and she coordinates study projects that emphasize design-for-all, user centered design and accessibility of new media. She has been producing various new media projects for museums. Her PhD-studies aim to find new narrative models for digital media. A challenge is to find suitable solutions for wide audience like visitors in museums.
